HOW TO ROCK A BOLD TARTAN PATTERN

See how much personality comes with the Tartan pattern pants...
Tartan is a pattern consisting of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colors. The Tartan pattern is particularly associated with Scotland, mostly because of the Scottish kilts. Tartan is often called plaid in North America, but in Scotland, a plaid is simply a tartan cloth worn with a kilt as an accessory.

My tartan pants are hands down my favorite pair including all of my denim and chinos. They express more about my personal style than I could ever do verbally. They are so bold that it allows me to do more with my outfits when mixing them with other fabrics.

I styled the pants with a denim jean jacket to give it more of a casual feel, but still dressed up underneath with a white fitted oxford button up and brown textured necktie.

I had these cropped shorter than my everyday pants so I can wear them with dress boots and not have the pants bunch up on the boot. These are amazing wingtip boots with a brown and tan combo that stop right above my ankle.

This look gives me dapper without wearing a full out suit. I like mixing different pieces together to add more to my personality.
