HOW TO STYLE 1 SUIT...5 WAYS!

See how you can add more outfits with one of your favorite suits...
It's just something about a suit that makes you feel confident and well put together. Today I have taken the traditional dress-suit and added pieces to create new outfits so you can do more with them beyond the everyday shirt & tie look. These different combinations might not all fit your personal style with the full look, but there should definitely be detailed pieces that you can add that will help challenge your wardrobe.

This first look is the most traditional of all the looks I created for you. I paired the navy suit with a light blue dress shirt and a plaid bow tie. The tan belt matches my tan cap-toe dress shoes which is always important for them to be the same color or at least coordinate with other colors in the outfit. When it came to the accessories I wanted them to compliment the bow tie to make them all pop together, as well as bring color to the look.

I'm sure you may have seen guys dress suits down super casual, but just because you dress it down it don't mean the suit shouldn't fit the exact same. All tailoring/alteration rules still apply when you dress it down. I put a gray v-neck t-shirt with the navy suit and a pair of fresh white sneakers, and once again I allowed my accessory pieces to make the look standout with bright color (works every time).

One trick that most guy don't take advantage of is piecing together a 3 piece suit look with just a regular suit. As you can see I have added a brown vest that obviously didn't come with the navy suit, but still fits because of all the complimenting colors and accessory details. In some cases rocking sneakers with a full suit look comes across very stylish and not underdressed, it just has to be a classic shoe with a narrow design. You can read more about rocking sneakers with a suit in my SUIT -N- SNEAKERS blog post.

This next one is casual, but very clean and stylish with the classic white/fitted button up and red crewneck sweater underneath the jacket. Brown loafers should be in every man's wardrobe because they have the ability to make any outfit look classic, if you don't believe me just go and try them yourself. Get dressed up into look then go to the nearest shoee store and put them on with your outfit...LOL! I didn't put any socks with this look on purpose and I added a little accessory details as usual.

And last, I have put together the most casual look of the 5, but for some reason its so damn stylish...smh! I know what you're thinking, and yes I have added Birkenstocks to a full suit look. I feel that the accessories pull this look together in a very stylish way. It's more of a spring/summer outfit depending on where you live, but it will definitely help you stand apart from someone wearing regular jeans and a t-shirt.
