Throw on a pair of cool sneakers with your suit and see how stylish & comfortable you feel...
I'm not doing anything special today just simply switching out my dress shoes for a pair of cool kicks. There's always a way to do things and this is a perfect example of how to wear sneakers with a business suit and not look goofy or underdressed. Don't misunderstand now... I'm not saying you can get fully suited up and successfully play in a pickup basketball game just by having on sneakers. It will, on the other hand, help loosen you up and add more personality to you dapper look.
Wait! You can't just throw on any ole athletic shoes tho, they have to have a narrow design and not fit too bulky. For example if I take the new balances I'm wearing and put them side-by-side my double monk dress shoes they are almost the same in size and both have narrow cuts. You should shy away from high and mid-top sneakers because they usually stop the hem of your suit pants from lying the correct way.
I added a red pocket square just to coordinate with my red shoe strings...lol... cool right? Also with this look I put on a navy sweater for extra layering that you're able to catch a hint of because the tucked necktie.
As you can see the sneakers just put me on another level when I'm out and about with a full suit on and I'm literally ready for anything to pop off in these LA streets lol. There are plenty of New Yorkers that maneuver around the city wearing sneakers with a full suit, so they won't ruin their dress shoes before arriving at a destination.
Having fun in a very stylish way is how I'm able to challenge my wardrobe day-after-day!
