OOTD: MONOCHROMATIC LOOK

Come see full look of monochromatic tones to create a stylish look...
One of my favorite looks outside of my dapper style is streetwear that has a mixture of casual and formal pieces in them. Today I'm playing with color tones in a monochromatic way that gives me a chic look once styled in streetwear. If you're not familiar with this term, having a monochromatic look is when you use different shades of the same color tones to put together a complete outfit.

To add more personality to such a look you have to play with more than just color tones and use different fabric textures and apparel pieces. The rich textures of the corduroy blazer pops out with the oversized tee underneath it.

As you saw a couple weeks ago I showed how I styled an oversized t-shirt (click link) with inserted zippers and altered sleeves and today I'm wearing another one but in burgundy. The mixed styles of the oversized t-shirt and blazer looks dope with the zippers and foot of fabric hanging from underneath the jacket.

The jogger pants were a hit in this look because they had the perfect texture that coordinated well with the chic look and high top sneakers.

Its rare that I wear designer sneakers but I couldn't pass these up and they are high top, which is something I don't do often either, but thats one way I challenge my own wardrobe.
